Equality Now: Campaigners for Legislation That Protect Women’s Rights.

Equality Now works to achieve legal equality and promote women’s rights for women and girls through legislation changes, policy shifts, and advocacy. The organization also provides research and tools to empower vulnerable women, combat sex trafficking, and raise awareness on other harmful practices that negatively affect women and prevent them from having fulfilled rights.

 
 

Ms. Foundation for Women: Promoting Women’s Civil Liberties and Rights.

Ms. Foundation for Women advocates for women’s rights by ensuring women have access to education, childcare, equal employment opportunities, and are able to participate in civil society. The organization supports over 100 grassroots movements in the US that also raise awareness on women’s rights issues and promote gender equality across the country.

We build pathways for young women of color to embrace the current tech marketplace as builders and creators by introducing them to skills in computer programming and technology.

Together, we are creating stronger economies and more equitable societies — ultimately realizing the true potential of democracy through diversity and inclusion.

At Planned Parenthood our mission is to ensure all people have access to the care and resources they need to make informed decisions about their bodies, their lives, and their futures. Founded in 1916, Planned Parenthood is a trusted health care provider, educator, and passionate advocate here in the U.S. as well as a strong partner to health and rights organizations around the world. Each year, Planned Parenthood delivers vital sexual and reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of people. 

Malala Fund is working for a world where every girl can learn and lead.

Traditional approaches aren’t cutting it. At this moment, nearly 130 million girls are out of school. Even more are in school but not learning. That’s why Malala Fund is focused on accelerating progress — challenging systems, policies and practices so all girls can access 12 years of free, safe, quality education.

So why do they represent less than a third of the nation’s elected leaders? We can’t expect to achieve the best policies when nearly half the population is shut out from policy making. By tapping the full talent pool this country has to offer, there is no problem we can’t solve.
