Description: Create a seamless user experience to allow our users to complete timesheets through a mobile app.
Timeline: 14 days, including 6 iterations (prototype design, test, contextual interview, update) with a team of 3.
Problem: Non-profits are spending too much of their time managing and organizing time sheets. Although there is an online timesheet management tool, volunteers need a quicker and more accessible way to submit their volunteer hours.
Challenge: To humanize the process of filling out a timesheet and maintain the integrity of the current government mandated requirements.
Solution: To help non-profits reallocate time during work by managing timesheets so they can spend more time on the ground in their communities.
Method: Stakeholder interviews, surveys, personas, concept map, interviews, contextual inquiry, comparative and competitive analysis, design studio method, usability testing, paper prototype, sketching, prototype feedback, wireframes, user flows, site map, and mood board.
Role: My role within the team was paper prototyping, wireframes, sketching low to high fidelity prototype, and to create the high fidelity prototype in XD.
Tools:
Brainstorming
Mood Board
User Flows
Sketching
This short video shows our teams process of sketching, wireframing, and the beginning of prototyping for the app.
