Local Art from Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona is a city filled with the surreal.  There are buildings and artwork from the Surrealist Masters Dali and Gaudi all over the city. Amongst these out-of-this-world artwork the city is also grounded with tradition and rich history.  There are churches and marketplaces which have been in the city for centuries and used in an everyday type of way. The food is the best I have ever tasted and it has ruined anything we call tapas here. I can't wait to go back to this city to explore more of it's wonders.

Local Art from Dublin, Ireland

This a hand craved 3 clove shamrock from Westport, Ireland.  The reason it is a 3 clove and not for 4 is to represent the holy trinity of the Catholic Church.  While in Ireland I experienced most of the day to day life was around religious beliefs. There are stunning churches all over the country side as well as in the city dating back to 1172.  The day wasn't complete without a proper pour of Guinness at a local pub.  On the way to the airport I stopped to search for a four leaf clover for luck, and to take in the beautiful, peaceful countryside at sunrise.
